Department of forest, Govt. of Uttarakhand will complete the recruitment process of June 2018 Uttarakhand Forest Guard Exam for 1218 posts, by this years end. Forest department is changing few rules and pattern related to this recruitment drive of 1218 forest guard posts.

New Rules Introduced
A whooping high number of applicants (over 1.2 Lakh) had applied after June 2018 notification of the forest department. So, Forest department Uttarakhand was finding it very difficult to conduct a Physical Test (PET) of every aspirant. As the forest department neither have such staff nor such resources, to conducted physical test for lakhs of candidates.
Hence, now they are changing the pattern of this examination. Candidates now have to first take the Written Test. And only if he secures the cutoff marks of his category, he will be considered for a Physical test.
As a result of above change, department’s burden is expected to come down with this change in pattern of examination.
