1280 LT Teacher Recruitment : Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) stopped this recruitment process due to a court order.
According to newspapers, Education Department has sent a proposal of recruitment of 1280 LT teachers to UKSSSC. but later through RTI applications some students found that 151 posts of Art subjects was not included by department in this proposal. So they went to the court against the proposal and court ordered the government to include these missing 151 vacancies in the notification.
Now UKSSSC will resume the process only after receiving these new vacancy numbers from Education department.
Santosh Badoni, the Secretary of UKSSSC confirmed this development and told that “if we proceed without including these 151 posts, then it can be become a case of contempt of the honorable court. Hence we will wait for the new proposal from the education department.”
