3. Research Associate-I – Rs. 47,000/Month + HRA
4. Junior Research Fellow or Junior Project Fellow – Rs. 31,000/- Per Month + HRA (for NET/GATE qualified); Rs. 16,000/- Month + HRA (for others)
5. Office Assistant (at New Delhi Office) – Rs. 16,200/- Per Month

Minimum Educational Qualification
1. Himalayan Research Associate – M.Tech in relevant branch of engineering/RS & GIS/Geo technology /Engineering Geology with 3 year experience in research/Technology/ modeling / development OR Ph.D. in Geography/Geology/Physics/ Environmental Science with RS & GIS/any other relevant subject.
2. Himalayan Junior Research/Project Fellow – First Class Master Degree in RS & GIS, Urban planning or equivalent Subject/B.Tech. in relevant branch of Engineering.
3. Research Associate-I – First class Masters degree in Physical Sciences/ Mathematical Sciences/ Geological Sciences/ Geography with Ph.D. degree OR M. Tech in Civil/ Environmental Engineering/ Water Resource/ Hydrology/Geophysics/Earth Sciences with 3 years experience.
4. Junior Research Fellow or Junior Project Fellow – First class Masters degree in Physical Sciences/Computer Sciences/ Geological Sciences/Earth sciences/Geography/ Agriculture in soil or water conservation. OR B.Tech in Civil/ Water resource engineering/Hydrology.
5. Office Assistant (at New Delhi Office) – Intermediate Pass.
6. Office Assistant (at Kosi-Katarmal office) – Graduate Degree from a recognized University.
